Shine a light - Swathes of ominous heavy cloud roll over the Trotternish ridge bringing rain and casting a gloomy darkness over Beinn Edra and the distant landscape. A fortuitous crack in the clouds allows a brief glimpse of brightness, seemingly shining a light as crepuscular rays fall between Cleat and Dun Dubh; all viewed from the safety of the Quiraing behind Cnòc a Mhèrlich.

A truly incredible landscape and world-class inspirational location, made all the more dramatic by the typical moody Skye weather.
