The presence of Winter comes pictorially complete with a wisp of smoke rising vertically upwards from a chimney at Kastraki village.

The distinctively spindle-shaped, vertical rock is called Roka or Adrachti. Roka belongs to the Meteora rocky complex. The lofty rock formations called Meteora are geologically unique and included in UNESCO World Heritage list.

The monochrome photograph was inspired by the poem lines:
