This is the new building being built for the BBC in Salford Quays on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal.

I've been photographing this pretty much since the start of construction. It's due to complete in a couple of years.

Photographed early one morning last week in the mist and rain at high iso with extra grain added in post processing
