Bike at the ready

            Mission accomplished. Grunt. 

My bike got lost in transfer. Had to register without knowing where it really was and if I would get it in time at all.

Finally got note it would arrive with a night flight from Madrid. 

So tried to sleep a bit in advance, got up, taxi to airport, picked it up at 2 am, and was back in hotel around 2:30. 

Then assembly. Only slight worry I couldn't solve completly: Bend rear disc. Hell of a job to make somewhat ok without breaking anything. Oh well. Shot this at 5:30 in the morning.

A mere 3,5 hours left to the start.

Mission erfüllt. Ächz!

Mein Rad kam nicht mit mir am Flughafen an. Ich musste mich tags drauf registrieren, ohne zu wissen wo es war und ob ich es überhaupt noch rechtzeitig erhalten würde.

Endlich bekam ich Nachricht, dass es mit einem Nachtflug aus Madrid ankommen sollte.

So versuchte ich abends etwas vorzuschlafen, nahm dann ein Taxi zum Flughafen, fand mein Rad um 2 Uhr in der Nacht und war dann um halb drei zurück im Hotel.

Dann Aufbau. Die einzige Sorge, die danach blieb, war ein total verbogener Hinterrad-Brems-Rotor. War eine Elendsarbeit, das halbwegs hinzubekommen, damit es nicht schliff und ich auch nichts kaputt machte. Oh, ok, muss klappen. Das Foto it von 5:30 Uhr am Morgen. Alles Fertig. 

Nur noch 3,5 Stunden bis zum Start.
