Being a woman....love it! - a photo on Flickriver

            The mood to cross-dress is well and truly on me just now. Alas, I am unable to do so and needing to fulfil my desire led to, as usual, me browsing photos and videos from previous times I became my female alter-ego. I noticed in some of my videos from 2019 just how comfortable I am describing myself as a transvestite. The truth is I am comfortable with it as it was discovering that word that was my salvation as a teenage boy that was desperate to spend time as a girl.

 I do call myself a cross-dresser these days, more because I received much criticism and negativity in recent years for using the word transvestite. For me, the word represents freedom and liberation but I am trying to stop saying it for the reason I just mentioned. I believe I am part transsexual and part cross-dresser. My transsexual side drives my cross-dressing and fulfils my emotional desire to feel female and forget being a man for awhile. I have to admit though, as frustrated performer I enjoy taking on the appearance, behaviour and persona of the woman I like to become. What I'm saying, I enjoy the dressing up as much as the emotional fulfilment. I always harboured a notion of being a female impersonator playing trans characters in films and on stage...it never happened!

I cross-dress alone and in private and I enjoy chatting to the camera about how I'm feeling. My musings are often random, repetitive and meandering but it helps me exist as a woman for the period I am cross-dressed. I'm posting these. Wee musings video recorded back in September 2019. I vividly recall I was super excited and in absolute heaven to be spending time as a woman once more. It's a spontaneous moment from that day I enjoyed so much.
