Rough-legged Hawk

            This is a light morph male, you can see the feathers down the leg, that where it gets its name, its a "way up north bird" come here to stay warm. I got very close to this one, the reason, a 30 mph wind, you can see he is holding on for dear life, beautiful bird and rare around here
