Hiking Brennes - Großer Arber - a photo on Flickriver

            Der Kleine Arber im Bayerischen Wald ist mit 1383,6 m ü. NHN[1] der höchste Berg der Oberpfalz. Die Grenze zu Niederbayern verläuft über seinen Gipfel und über jenen des östlich befindlichen Großen Arbers (1455,5 m ü. NHN; dabei stellt ein Felsriegel westlich vom Gipfelkreuz mit 1439,6 m den höchsten Punkt der Oberpfalz dar).
 
Auf dem felsigen Gipfel steht ein stattliches Holzkreuz mit Gipfelbuch, der Ausblick reicht über den Lamer Winkel bis ins Zillertal.
