FV "Onze Linquenda" BM202 beached at Yelland, Instow, Devon, UK

            She was built as a German Kriegsfischkutter ( KFK for short )boats designed for small auxiliary warships of the German Navy during World War II in 1944 at the shipyard Gusto in Schiedam. After the war she was one of 5 KFK'n who remained in the Netherlands as reparations. Special feature: the wooden planking was completely replaced by steel plates and became fishing vessel. In 1956 rebuilt at Den Helder, Holland as a fishing vessel, came to the UK in 1976 as 'Onze Linquenda' 704699,and was forcibly shut down in Plymouth on June 10, 2004 due to a number of defects. Date & place of detention: 10/06/2004 – Plymouth [68] once a Brixham Trawler, now just a rusting hulk at Yelland.
