The square in Kristiansand, Norway - a photo on Flickriver

            When I was growing up, the fountain was stored at Tangen. Playground for the children in Kongensgate.
It is located east of Kristiansand Cathedral in Rådhusgata's axis. Kirkegata delimits the Upper Square to the Lower Square in the southwest and Kristiansand Town Hall faces the square in the northeast. In the south-east, the square is bounded by a number of buildings that house municipal offices, including the former fire station and the former city center building of the Friends of the Fatherland. Northwest of the square is Wergelandsparken. The term "town hall square" characterizes Øvre torv. The upper turf is covered with old cobblestones that came to light when the asphalt was removed.
