it's hotter than hell now - a photo on Flickriver

As if the pandemic weren't enough, it has been very hot the last three days and 37 C degree weather is forecast to continue in Bangkok until next Wednesday. While I guess it is not life threatening, it is very unpleasant and I have retreated to my air conditioned bedroom each afternoon with the dog who usually spends the day with my wife downstairs. I found the following article in the New Scientist alarming because it says that 35C plus is the point where the body stops being able to cool itself, so that some parts of the world (Middle East) are becoming uninhabitable already due to high temperatures.
