Moon with Earthshine and light haze - a photo on Flickriver

            As I found out that the 100 mm macro lens and bellows work quite well for astrophotography, I tried it again yesterday, this time with an APS-C camera to get some more magnification. 

The 100 mm Macro-Elmar-R produces very little CA. It is much better than the Elmarit 135. It is surprisingly good in view of the very high level of contrast. 

It helps to view this on a good screen, not a mobile device or dim laptop. If you can't see the tree in the bottom right and the three stars above the moon, your screen is not bright enough.
