The singles on the hill - a photo on Flickriver

            We're three miles north (timetable East, for you Espee hardcores) of Ashland, Oregon on the Siskiyou Line. A westbound splits the single blades on the hill above Jackson Hot Springs. 

In the winter, it was common for the Rogue Valley to be socked in with dense fog. Often, Ashland and environs would be just high enough to escape the gloom. This westman has emerged into the bright morning sun.
