Greater Manchester Transport 169 in Bolton garage

GMT opened a brand new garage in Bolton in 1980, replacing three garages in the town. It had all the up-to-date features and was superbly located in the town centre. Sadly its location was also its downfall, as it was a prime location that was sold off to be demolished, and replaced by retail units, after less than a quarter century of use.
