Nearing the end

            This was the first wine from Keating I tasted, right out of the barrel. Liked it well enough to buy it as a future. Joined the club. Never disappointed. Sadly, operations were shut down a bit over a year ago, so once I've gone through what I have, all that will be left is a memory. This particular vintage is one of the finest examples of a well made, structured Zin I've ever tasted. Not the typical over-extracted, jammy, grape-grenade that has become the norm, but an elegant, sophisticated, beautiful expression of this noble grape. Can you tell I like it?

Shot with a Wollensak 1"/1.9 Cine Raptar wide open. I really love the look this lens brings. Minimally processed in Capture One.
