Parsonage dining room - a photo on Flickriver

            Every once in a while I get a photo that gives me nothing but trouble in terms of color. Usually, it's because of the original lighting. Generally in museums objects are lit with warm lights. I'm okay with that and have learned how to compensate, but sometimes an exhibit casts an awful yellow light (give me murky light any day) that while you can cut it, takes the life out of the rest of the color and it takes me forever to try to fix it. This image is a good example. I've worked on it for days and am still not entirely sure I like it. I decided not to go black and white, but to be a true Artiste and try to fix the color.

It's a vertical panorama, two images of 3x exposure HDR. The image has been corrected (and re-corrected) for lens distortion. I've worked on it and looked at it so much and so critically that I can no longer judge whether it's successful or not.
