Unexpected Visitors - a photo on Flickriver

            Sony ILCE-7M2 | Tamron 35mm

I've tried taking photos of the neighborhood wild turkeys before, but they scamper away when I step out onto the porch. This time I opened the door only wide enough to slip my arm and camera out. I could monitor the shots through the glass of the door and the LCD and the back of the camera. I used back button focus. The turkeys were curious about the sound of the shutter and stopped eating long enough to walk over via the street sidewalk and walkway up to the house to listen and watch. After half a minute they decided to leave.
