A Day at Saddle Tor and the Curious Case of the Forgotten Camera

            Last Sunday we drove to Saddle Tor on Dartmoor and spent some real quality time among wild Dartmoor ponies in this stunning landscape. Now the day started peculiar for me as I realised I had forgotten my beloved camera at home just before we arrived at our destination! At a sunny day like this I was gutted. I think this was the first time that this happened and my wife could not hold back some chuckles... Well, it is what it is so the benefit for not having to carry around my bulky Canon was to climb around the rocks with my boys and to simply enjoy the day. However, the urge to capture the beauty was overwhelming so I used my wife's mobile phone to snap a few shots - so this is a rare upload not taken with my DSLR (I had to smirk when looking at the settings of the shot). We will return soon I think - this time I hopefully remember to grab my camera on our way out ;-)
