2M62M 1199 LG | Bebrujai (LT) - a photo on Flickriver

            La linea ferroviaria che da Radviliškis scende verso Jonava è quasi interamente a doppio binario tranne un breve sezione di alcuni chilometri a sud del grande scalo lituano, fino alla stazione di Gimbogala: su questo tratto a singolo binario i treni si susseguono con una buona frequenza, e con un po' di pazienza si possono fotografare le locomotive diesel doppie della serie 2M62, modernizzate con l'installazione di nuovi motori Caterpillar per cercare di ridurre il consumo di carburante.

The railway line from Radviliškis down to Jonava is almost entirely double-track except for a short section of a few kilometers south of the large Lithuanian marshalling yard, up to Gimbogala station: on this single-track stretch, trains run with a good frequency, and with a little patience you can photograph the twin diesel locomotives of the 2M62 series, modernized with the installation of new Caterpillar engines in order to reduce fuel consumption.
