"I heard about the project during an information meeting in my village. I immediately understood the advantages of renovating my house, using passive solar architectural techniques. Before, during winter, we had to stoke our heating all day long. Now, we just light it once in the morning and once during the afternoon. We were using approximately 20 bags of cowpat collected and dried during the summer. Now, we have reduced this consumption by about 7 or 8 bags (i.e. around 40%]. This represents a huge difference for us! And the fact that it is warmer inside has directly impacted our health."

"J’ai entendu parler du projet lors d’une réunion d’information dans mon village. J’ai tout de suite compris les avantages de réhabiliter ma maison avec les techniques de l’architecture solaire passive. Avant, pendant l’hiver, nous étions obligés d’alimenter notre chauffage toute la journée. Maintenant, nous ne l’allumons qu’une fois le matin, et une fois l’après-midi. Nous utilisions environ 20 sacs de bouses de vache, ramassées et séchées pendant l’été. Maintenant, nous avons réduit cette consommation d’environ 7 ou 8 sacs, [soit à peu près 40%]. Cela fait une énorme différence pour nous ! 
Et le fait qu’il fasse plus chaud a eu un impact direct sur notre santé."
