            Le Taj Mahal (patrimoine UNESCO) est situé à Āgrā, au bord de la rivière Yamunâ dans l'État de l'Uttar Pradesh en Inde. C'est un mausolée de marbre construit (1631-1654)par l'empereur moghol Shâh Jahân en mémoire de son épouse  Mumtaz Mahal.
Le Taj Mahal est considéré le un joyau de l'Architecture moghole,il combine les styles des architectures islamique, iranienne, ottomane et indienne.

The Taj Mahal (UNESCO Heritage) is located in Agra, on the banks of the Yamuna River in Uttar Pradesh in India. It is a marble mausoleum built (1631-1654) by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
The Taj Mahal is considered the jewel of Mughal architecture, it combines the styles of Islamic architecture, Iranian, Indian and Ottoman.
