Whitlocks End (pjs,1156) - a photo on Flickriver

            Whitlocks End in 1958 was a small, little used rural halt, the passenger facilities consisted of two wooden huts, today we have two Perspex and alloy bus shelters.
Entrance and exit was by a steep slope set into the embankment with a footpath along the top on both sides. Today the large field on the left is a vast car park because the station is a Park and Ride for new "villages" which have swallowed up many acres of local farmland.
Standing in the platform are a pair of new  Derby suburban 3 car class 116 units with a DMBS* leading, it will have started from either Henley-in-Arden or Stratford-upon-Avon  and it is bound for Birmingham Moor Street.
