Red-tailed Hawk | Nature's Awesomeness

            In the final 250m of today's uneventful hike, I reached the top of a small but very vertical uphill hike and looked over my left shoulder realizing that I was eye level with the tall trees that lined the valley.  This beautiful hawk ripped through the carcass of what I believe was a squirrel from the forest floor like it was nothing.  What you see here is the tail end up! Thanks for stopping!
