Cradle Last Light.jpg - a photo on Flickriver

            Had a fantastic four days in the Cradle Mountain area of the wilderness area of NW Tasmania a couple of weeks ago. Decided to more deeply explore this area than waste too much time driving around the island as it is only a few hours flight away plenty more time to do different areas. I did manage to get up on both sides of the actual summit on the plateau and at Hansons Point on the other side as well as lots around the lakes on the way up. A little snow still around but all trails were open, so best of both worlds - and yes it was cold!
