Ocaso de oasis

            Laguna de Huacachina, Departamento de Ica, Perú.
 Ubicada entre dunas del Desierto, a cinco kilómetros al oeste de la  ciudad de Ica , se la conoce también con el sobrenombre de ‘Oasis de las Américas’, ya  que se considera como  uno de los pocos oasis naturales que se pueden encontrar en el continente americano.
De aguas color verde esmeralda, surgió debido al afloramiento de corrientes subterráneas y alrededor de ella hay una abundante vegetación compuesta de palmeras, eucaliptos (especies introducidas) y la especie de algarrobo conocida como huarango, la que sirve para el descanso de las aves voladoras que pasan por esta región
