A l'automne 2020, il ne restait que sept motrices Tatra T6 sur 150 en service à Praha: 8629, 8637, 8656, 8716, 8739, 8747 et 8748.
Les motrices tête et fin de série 8601 et 8750 seront promues véhicules historiques.
Devenues surnuméraires suite aux livraisons des motrices Skoda ForCity, de nombreuses T6 ont pu entamer une seconde vie en Ukraine, à Sofia (BG) ou même à Brno et Bratislava.

Les convois T6 8639 + 8640 et T3 8494 + 8495 stationnent dans la boucle, au terminus de la ligne 7, point de correspondance avec le métro.
