Night Scene - DSC_0125 - a photo on Flickriver

            North Beach, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Ireland at night. Bray Head is in the background. 

This is my longest ever exposure to date at over three minutes. The Sky looked interesting which prompted me to take the shot. 

Interestingly, there is a Heron on the edge of the Rocks to the right of the photo. I didn't realise it was there.  It stayed almost still for the duration of the shot. 

I had my camera in Bulb mode and mounted on my Manfrotto 190 tripod. I triggered the camera with a Hahnel wired trigger. I used the stopwatch on my phone as timer.
