Against the Wind

            I had the Deardorff out at Rowena for some very windy pictures. Luckily, I have a very special tripod, which is capable of what I call the Larry Craig position, AKA “wide stance.” The camera did not topple over, and pictures may be posted soon, assuming that the wind didn’t make them blurry. I had only slow speed film loaded. I was using the 4x5 reducing back, either a 360mm Schneider, or a 19” Goerz lens, and Ilford Ortho+ film for the shoot.
