1986 Pontiac Acadian 'Scooter'

Found this mint Acadian nearby my house. I've seen it multiple times in this area, the occupants were visiting the Hospice near the hospital. I met the owner and she said she bought it for farily cheap, but apparently did a lot of work cleaning it and getting rid of surface rust. To me, it doesn't look like it had any rust or damage.

My first spotting of it was late at night so the photos were not worthy of uploading. But I did find it durring some daylight even though quite foggy sitting curb-side. I've only once before seen an Acadian(in recent years that is) but never the 'Scooter' trim before.

I had told the owner that I liked her car quite a bit and said that I'm happy to see it all original and unmolested.

This was the second to last year of production for the Chevette/Acaidan/T1000/1000. The 'Scooter' trim was the base model being the cheapest at $2,899 MSRP. The T-platform were sold in 3 and 5 door body styles in North America and was marketed world-wide under many names and other body styles.

According to Wikipedia, the 'Scooter' trim was dropped in 1984 which leaves me confused.
