Mr. Fuzz - a photo on Flickriver

Mr. Fuzz

            My fuzzy boy, Dan Patch (AKA "Patch") cropped from another photo I posted on flickr.

He was born in a storage shed on the Continental Machines property in Savage, Minnesota (home of the legendary horse Dan Patch, world pacing record holder for over 50 years - hence his name!)  We rescued the whole litter before winter set in, and all found homes, though they had to be bottle fed for a few weeks.  He's had to have had Maine Coon in him!

He was a gem - liked to clean your eyebrows, around your ears, your arms and hands, and your toes.  Talked a lot, looked right in your eyes when you were talking to him.  He slept in the crook of my arm under the covers every night - same place he slept since he was a little guy the first night I had him here.  He was just one special guy.
