Magic looking at Raw files - a photo on Flickriver

This is a panorama made up of seven vertical shots, being each shot an autobraking of three shots to be merged as HDR. So, behind this picture, there are 21 shots. Correspondings RAWs were processed individually, the seven HDR shots were computed with Darktable which were merged as a Panorama with Huguin. The final shot was saved with uncompressed TIF file with AdobeRGB and processed with Darktable. Then the photo was saved as JPG (quality 95%) and some Burn&Dodge effects were applied with GIM.

From my point of view, the final result is astonishing, especially if you compare with the panorama made using directly those JPG shots made by the camera (only seven, choosing the central one of each auto-breaking or HDR). Here you can see the starting point:

Viewing this one can think: a) Good sensors and raw files catch colors, illumination, etc, that is to say, what we could understand as reality; b) mathematics on raw files allows you to discover the magic of colors, lights, and darks, making emotions and sensations; a) and b) together give you the power of magicians, finding out what is there but is not clearly visible. One can put his/her focus on what one wants and leave apart aspects less interesting from the magician point of view.

I would like eyes which could be able to do this, that is, to discover in people what is not visible and empower what you would like to find within him/her and leave apart what is not worthy of; maybe it could help me in believing that I'm not so alone or I'm not so different from most people.

One conclusion, now at my 48s: I would like to find a way to retire myself of doing banal things and be able to spend more time doing valuable activities for my spirit.
