            The original photo is a neighbor's front yard in my neighborhood, she has her yard full of naitive flowers that bloom every Spring. I decided to make the photo more interesting by using a couple of techniques covered in this class: selective color and composite montage. For the composite montage I used two textures, the bark of a tree in our back yard and the other a plane rough steel texture. For the tree bark I used the Disolve blending mode at 64% and for the steel I used the Overlay at 75%.
The native plant is Gaillardia Pulchella (AKA Indian Blanket).
