Glottiphyllum longum 4799 - a photo on Flickriver

            And, now I return to Glottiphyllum longum, but not the fairly commonplace daisy-like flower, but rather its seed pods. The three stages of setting seed are in this one image with the one not yet open in the middle.

Glottiphyllum longum is a species of succulent plant in the family Aizoaceae, native to the Western Cape and Eastern Cape Provinces, South Africa.
