Scarlet Star - Hawaii - 2005

            The Olympus C3000Z was the only digital camera I had in 2005 when we went to Kawai, Hawaii. It was all we needed. It didn't have many bells and whistles, but it's lens was excellent. 

When your subject is a six to eight inch diameter Ixora Scarlet Star ball of flowers, it is an easy shoot. Note that the C3000Z has (I still have it) a viewfinder with parallax correction, and a fully manual mode. It really is only a "point-and-shoot" when you're shooting people and you don't care ;-)
