            in concert at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas on November 24, 1978. Desaturated Ektachrome in E6 with a 35mm Nikkormat and Vivitar 70-210. This is a frame from one of two rolls I had developed at an E6 lab in Dallas. The lab stole the other roll. I never got to see the results. If anyone knows anything about this stolen roll of Bob Dylan, please, contact me. 

It was a great show. His rendition of "All Along the Watchtower" would have brought a tear to Hendrix's eye...". This is one of my favs. Bob was 37 years old when I snapped this. I was 22 and about to graduate from film school at UT Austin. Bob was the bridge between the blues, folk and country that launched rock and roll. He was not just a factor in starting rock, he was the Super Glue that bound it all together. His powerful lyrics became the standard by which all those who followed tested their metal. Bob impacted The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, The Byrds, Creedence, Eric Clapton, CSNY, and on, and on, and on...

I would love to see this painted on the side of at least a 20-story building in Minneapolis, New York City, Austin, Memphis, San Francisco, London, Berlin, Moscow or Paris, or maybe all of them ... anyone? anyone? I think it would look so kool on brick in the shade. If any large-scale artists out there are interested, I am no philanthropist, but I'm guessing we could find some grant money somewhere. The man changed music forever...
