Midland Classic 46

            Midland Classic have reduced the number of DB250s in their fleet over the past couple of years, though still operate two of the eight former Arriva London vehicles acquired in 2015. As with the bulk of the company's decker fleet, usage is largely restricted to weekdays, with school work fit around service runs a typical day. One of the pair is a regular performer on a duty which starts the day on school service 801, works an untimed 8 from Winshill to Burton followed by the 08:45 19 round trip to Ashby, and then generally goes off service until afternoon school work. LJ04LFV (46) was operating this duty today, and is seen here in Donisthorpe with the outward 19. This one spent a lengthy period off the road last year into this year, and has only rentered service in recent months.
