Battleship Petropavlovsk - details - a photo on Flickriver

And now let´s talk about the model:

I really enjoyed building Petropavlovsk. I made it after I completed the ships from the First Sino-Japanese War so I was able to use what I had learned so far and experiment some new technics.
The model is bristle with guns, big and small and it also carries six smaller boats onboard and a crane to launch and recover them.

The colour:
The Russian First Pacific Squadron were painted on a colour quite similar to LEGOs olive-green and I considered making it on that colour, but the current Olive-Green parts variety is quite small and some bricks are quite rare and expensive, so I made the ship in light bluish gray and on the Documentary that I´m working on I will modify their painting with photoshop.
