Middle Dock Night View - a photo on Flickriver

This was taken on a trip to London in late January this year. This was taken from inside the Canary Wharf Financial District in London looking west into Middle Dock from West Plaza. For those who know it this is close to One Canada Square and the clocks. The bridge across the Dock takes the DLR trains.. The building in the middle is a new skyscraper. There are many more new ones going up on the eastern side

The picture was taken on a Tripod with a Sony A68 with a Sigma 10-20 mm zoom at 10mm. 3 raw images 2EV spacing for HDR. The picture was enhanced with HDR processing using tone compressor setting in Photomatix for a natural look. Topaz clarity was used for more detail. In Photoshop the Lens Correction filter custom setting was used to correct verticals. some adjustments were made to brightness with a mask to bring up overall brightness. The clone and heal tools were used to remove some cranes and their lights.
