Castillo Templario de Ucero, al atardecer.

Castillo Templario
Fortaleza, de triple cordón defensivo, situada en lo alto de una loma desde donde se observa una panorámica perfecta del pueblo y del río Ucero. Perteneció a la orden del temple, al igual que la ermita de San Bartolomé, situada en el cañón y unida al castillo por un sendero. Pero lo más destacado son los detalles de la torre del homenaje, con su bóveda de crucería y las figuras de gárgolas. Una de ellas, llamada La Diablesa, muestra una figura sobre la que un águila sostiene entre sus garras a una serpiente. Un pasadizo subterráneo, del que aún queda un tramo de 30 metros, unía el río Ucero con el recinto de la fortaleza.
