Mallorca - Palma - Castillo de Bellver (in explore 31-05-2023)

            Palma es la capital de la Isla de Mallorca, es una ciudad turística. La inmensa catedral de Santa María, conocida como la “Catedral de la Luz” gracias a sus 59 ventanales y sus 5 rosetones, un monumento gótico que se empezó a construir en el siglo XIII domina el horizonte de la bahía. 

Junto a la catedral se halla la Almudaina, una fortaleza de estilo árabe convertida en residencia real, que narra la historia de Mallorca ofreciendo una intensa mezcla entre las diferentes culturas que llegaron a la isla para dejar su huella. 

En el Casco Antiguo se encuentra la Lonja de Palma, también conocida como Sa Llotja, fue la antigua sede del colegio de Mercaderes en el siglo XV. Tiempo después se convirtió en una de las mayores obras arquitectónicas de la isla. Fue centro de reunión donde se regulaban las actividades comerciales de la isla.

Al oeste de la ciudad, el castillo de Bellver, construido entre los años 1300 y 1311 y situado en la cima de un cerro, es una fortaleza medieval y residencia real, con sus distintas formas circulares, que ofrece un apasionante recorrido a través de la historia.
