Hey Dude! #3 of 3

            The third photo of the “Hey Dude!” Series is of a pair of Northern Rough-winged Swallows taken by my son, David, who has also established rapport with his subjects. If you will notice the enthusiastic wave of the little swallow on the left, while the other uninitiated swallow on the right looks on aghast! This is a prime example of rapport versus non-rapport initiated birds. Obviously, the young bird on the right has rightly told by its caring parents NOT to talk to strangers, but David through gifted prowess of his own has reached through to the other and established that precious rapport, culminating in that avian smile and wave of abandonment topped off with a “Hey Dude!”
