Little Loch Soy in winter - a photo on Flickriver

Our first trip up the coast in 2022 ended with a visit to Little Loch Soy in Portsoy. A grey, bleak, sunless day ... so I took my Lensbaby with me, and shot for the Lensbaby 'special effects'. Here I used 3 shots together for most impact!

I was shooting with the oldest Lensbaby optic I have - and the first I acquired, in 2013. It's the Composer Pro 'double glass' optic, with (would you believe it) F-stops set by inserting disks into the optic itself! I set it aside when I got a more up-to-date Lensbaby in 2015. But then in 2019 I started writing about my Lensbaby journey on my website ... so I dusted off the old original Composer Pro. And I was surprised at just how much I enjoyed it, and loved the rich colours and effects I could get. Since then it has been out in my camera bag for many shooting trips!
