Free at last!

Oh what a delight! Finally we heard that the grounds of Fyvie Castle (but not the castle itself) are open again! So Friday we set off with a few cameras to take our first look in 4 months ... yes we were last there March 18th! Large areas of it are overgrown, and in need of a lot of restorative care ... and the little loch is filled with algae ... we figure it will take the best part of a year to bring it back to its usual beautiful state. This shot was taken close to the castle, where the fields and lawns have been cut recently - so we had some lovely shots possible whenever the sun came out! This boy was dancing and cartwheeling across the lawns, before settling down ... so I could snap him ;o)
