Mesh-web Weaver & Prey (Dictynidae) 109h-4315

            A tiny Mesh Web Weaver has ensnared a relatively large adult Poplar Leaf Aphid (Chaitophorus populicola) in its web. Unfortunately, the spider's life will be a short one; it will ultimately succumb to the parasitic wasp larva attached to its abdomen.
