Male Wood Duck - Aix sponsa (Anatidae) 119x-4530

            Late afternoon sunlight has ignited the brilliant colours of this ornate male Wood Duck in breeding plumage. The ducks on Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park, although wild and living under natural conditions, are accustomed to being fed by visitors and have become quite tame.
