365-256 Tempus Fugit - a photo on Flickriver

            For the Macro Mondays group, on the subject of "As Long As It Ticks", this is a 1:1 macro of my skeleton watch.

I've never actually gone in this close on it before, as it needs some serious light to do it, and I've never thought of using my studio flash to get there.  Getting this close, and with the light coming in at an oblique angle to avoid reflections has revealed that either there is a lot of dust on the inside of the case, or - as I suspect is the case - the glass itself has lots of air bubbles in it!
