wabi sabi - Three wise monkeys - a photo on Flickriver

The Image shows an almost 50 Years old Bronze-Statue of the Three wise monkeys. They sit the hole year right in front of me on my Desktop to remember me on the meaning of them. It was Time that someone cleans them up so this old wabi sabi can be used the next 50 Years! So here we go...another hard job for our tiny little helpers :)

Meaning of the Three wise monkeys:

The three wise monkeys are a Japanese pictorial maxim, embodying the proverbial principle "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". The three monkeys are Mizaru, covering his eyes, who sees no evil; Kikazaru, covering his ears, who hears no evil and Iwazaru, covering his mouth, who speaks no evil.
