Crimp Style 3I3447 - a photo on Flickriver

            She has gained significant notoriety amongst those who follow brown bears along the Alaska coast. Thought to be about 11 or 12 years of age, Crimp Bear, as she is known, is still going strong. Aptly named because of a slightly downturned left ear that makes her easier to identify, she is one of the more successful and well-known fisher bears of Lake Clark National Park. She has two yearling cubs that I photographed last year as spring cubs. An exceptional mother, she continues to provide for them, and they are doing well. #BrownBears #Alaska
