6MA9 Mile End 24/04/2021

            After a few dramas at Tailem Bend due to the failure of CLF4, SCT's late running 6MA9 rolls through Mile End with SCT006/CSR009/CSR002/CLF2/CSR008 on Saturday the 24th of April 2021. 

CLF2 and classmate CLF4 are on hire from lease company Railpower and were both bound for SCT Penfield to balance power, however CLF4 failed due to both low water and a seized traction motor with CSR008 taking it's place from Tailem Bend onwards. SCT006 came to meet the train at Callington as D174S when it became apparent that the train had insufficient power to climb the Mt Lofty Ranges.
