because it happened - a photo on Flickriver

Today marks the end of my second 365(+1) project.  And when one considers the fact that I started doing dailyshoot at the end of January of 2010, I have taken a photo each day for almost three years.  

I will not be tackling a 365 in 2013, even though I have learned so much from this routine of creating a photo each day.  The past few months, my photos have become an afterthought to my day.  I haven't been excited about my 365, even though I am still excited about photography in general.  So I am thinking of other projects that I could work on over the next year.  Suggestions are certainly welcome.  I look forward to shifting my focus (ha!) and trying something new.  

However, before I close, I do want to thank the dozens of people who have been so wonderful on Flickr over the past three years.  I have learned a lot, made new friends, and enjoyed thousands of beautiful images thanks to too many people to name.  I have tagged a few in this post*, but I've forgotten more than I've included (and some of you - I'm looking at you, DeForestRanger - do not allow others to tag you).  So thank you, everyone, for the past few years.
