088/365 - Solar, Power - a photo on Flickriver

            …but not solar power. 

I drive under these high-tension power lines in Norfolk, MA on the way home most nights (depending on which of my commute routes I take.) I noticed a while back that the sun sets in the general vicinity, and have been waiting for the time of year when it would line up with good alignment and have some good cloud cover for sunset colors, and today was it. 

I shot this as two exposures, one at 1/250s @ ƒ/22 and another at 1/60s @ ƒ/22, merged to HDR in Photomatix Pro, and then cropped and tweaked the color further in Aperture to bring out just a hair more blue in the upper regions of the sky.
